A Weekly Round Up

Here is a round up of my life last week. I was so blessed that it was full of love and happiness!

A is for Australian Idol!
Finally, my favourite contestant has won! Wes shares the same birthday with Leslie Cheung and did this all singing, all dancing performance of Micheal Jackson's "Black or White".

B is for (nice) Blogs!
A natural pool at the edge of a waterfall. A wedding invitaion which tells the whole love story/journey. And a model in her 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s.

F is for Friends!
Sue has made me remember many of my original intentions. Cherie and I still crazy about the Obamas! Cherry picked me up after my piano lesson and she likes the magazine I bought for her.

P is for Piano!
My left and right hand were managed to do different moves at the same time.

O is for Obama!
Cherie sent me the interview with Barack & Michelle on 60 Minutes. I wish they can continue the good job so to prove good things can still happen in this world.

S is for Stella McCartney and Starry Night!
I read about and love the life philosphy of Stella McCartney- "to be true to yourself, believe in yourself, and shine on". After a whole day of chilly rain, the sky on Saturday night is the most beautiful one I have seen for a very long time.

A few goodies to share

I know it is a bit too lazy to only include things I found from blogs, I promise I will write about my life more once I got my camera (I need to save $$!). Meanwhile......

A few words about happiness.

Before and after of a cute kid's haircut.

A new found fashion blog kept by a beautiful, stylish girl.

"I'm Annoyed with My Boyfriend. Is the Honeymoon Over?" (P.S. I can't agree more with Joanna's answer)

New Pixar Movie: Up

When I still talk about what a great job Pixar has done with "Wall E", the trailer of their next installment "Up"has been released! Love those ballons and those weird pair.

P.S. I can't wait for tomorrow piano lesson to come.

Sydney Conservatory of Music

I have been in Sydney for nearly four years, but I didn't know that this castle like building near the Royal Bontanic Garden is the Sydney Conservatory of Music. I walked inside today and saw few guys wearing black shirt and pants, holding their musical instruments and music notes, walking out from concert halls. Cherie, isn't it your perfect place for guyspotting?

Bruises

I tried to do handstands for you

I tried to do headstands for you

Everytime I fell for you yeah everytime I fell

I tried to do handstands for you

But everytime I fell for you

I'm permanently black and blue, permanently blue for you

I grabbed some frozen strawberries so I could ice your bruisy knees

But frozen things they all unfreeze and now I taste like

All those frozen strawberries I used to chill your bruisy knees

Hot July ain't good to me

I'm pink and black and blue

Mended Spiderweb

And here is my final entry about spider. Check out Nina's Mended Spiderweb Series. It is interesting that all the repairs done by Nina were discarded by the spiders! All spiders are perfectionists!

Spiderman Spiderman

I used to watch Spiderman cartoon every Saturday morning and although I don't do this anymore, I can still recall how extremely cute is the theme song. Love it!

November

Here it is, the second last month of 2008.

Some of my November "things to do":

  • Start to take piano lesson. It would be great if I can do it on every Thursday, cos I can meet up with my buddy Cherry afterwards and have yummy dinner at the end of the day!
  • Get myself a new camera so that I can take pictures for my blog.
  • Plan ahead for Christmas 2008!
  • Plan ahead for my trip to Melbourne in the middle of 2009!

And there are many more... keke...... Have a happy and busy November everyone! Muah muah!
